Today ESA's ice mission Cryosat-2 will be launched with a Dnepr launcher. Again an important day at ESOC, the Cryosat-2 Flight Control Team has been preparing intensively to see that all goes well.We followed the launch from the canteen, where a launch event was organised. After launch we quickly headed to the DCR, such that we could listen to the voice loops and waited untill Asha said that we were receiving telemetry from Cryosat-2 through the Malindi groundstation! Now the real work can start! Good luck Cryosat-2!
